Local Driver

The Local Driver is responsible for driving a designated route to load and/or unload fuel safely and timely.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver and receive petroleum products to and from company tanks, customer tanks, and airplanes as required; perform customer service activities, including fuel attendant duties; assist with gasoline pump meter readings, sales slips and credit card charges; perform daily vehicle inspections and requisition parts and repairs; perform or assist with weekly inspections of facilities; assist maintenance crews with maintenance and upgrades. Track and reorder inventory. Complete paperwork and update information into computer tracking systems. Understand and implement company, state and federal regulations. Act as a first responder to any spill incidents and perform other duties as assigned.

Sign-On Bonus: $3,500.00

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years of experience operating vehicles that require a CDL. Experience with propane, natural gas, pipefitting, plumbing, crane, or boom truck is a plus

OTHER: Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker, Hazardous Materials and Air Brake endorsements. Must meet the current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Also, must possess a current Medical Certificate.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Familiar with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
