• Behavior Health -House Program Manager

    Immediately seeking a Behavior Health House Program Manager.
     
    Applicants must possess strong communications skills both written and verbal, familiarity with Alaskan native cultures/rural lifestyles and the ability to work well with seriously mentally ill patients.
     
    A Bachelors degree with 2 years of supervisory experience or at least 6 years of total experience ( 2 of which are supervisory) are required to be considered for this role.
     
    Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
    • Attends meetings and acts as liaison between other programs, departments, and stakeholders.
    • Monitors and maintains program conditions and fiscal responsibility.
    • Obtains financial support and assists clients with money management to ensure basic needs are met.
    • Provides administrative supervision to program staff. Including hiring, daily supervision, annual evaluations.
    • Plans, directs, monitors and coordinates all services including assisting with activities of daily living.
    • Maintains compliance with policies and procedures including documentation, adherence to health and safety standards and CARF accreditation.
    • Coordinates with other mental health, health, and social service providers who may provide care to clients.
    • Provides coordination and assistance for hospital admissions, court hearings, and involuntary commitment.
    • Arranges in-service training for staff as needed.
    • Other job-related duties as assigned.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Some village travel may be required.
     
    Full-time hours with pay starting at $31/HR depending on experience. 
     
    Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field. A combination of education and relevant experience may meet this requirement.
    • A BA with 2 years of supervisory experience or at least 6 years total experience, 2 of which are supervisory or management related.
    • A valid driver’s license and record
