    Position: Automotive Detail & Transport Specialist

    Location: Fairbanks, Alaska

    Pay Rate: $17-$21/hour DOE

    Schedule flexibility & weekend availability is required for this position. Part-time and full-time scheduling available.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure vehicle cleaning procedures and standards are followed.
    • Clean/detail vehicles interiors (remove trash, vacuum, shampoo, clean surfaces & glass)
    • Maintain Inventory of detail bay cleaning supplies and equipment.
    • Wash/detail vehicle interior and exteriors.
    • Follow key-handling procedures to ensure vehicle keys are stored properly and keys stay secure.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Transport vehicles in a safe and legal manner throughout the state of Alaska.
    • Create and oversee facility cleaning plans.
    • Thoroughly inspect vehicles to document any damages.
    • Oversee and perform check in and check out procedures on vehicles.
    • Wash/detail vehicle exteriors.
    • Prepare vehicles for rent.
    • Perform basic computer data entry and recording.
    • Follow key-handling procedures to ensure vehicle keys are stored properly.
    • Work as a team with other employees to achieve assigned tasks and business goals.
    • Assist in facility maintenance, organization, and cleaning.
    • Oversee fleet repair and maintenance through communication with appropriate channels.
    • Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Must have at least 2 years driving experience, a current driver’s license, and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
    • Must be able to drive long distances.
    • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must provide a copy of driving record.
    • Must be able to work varying shifts and schedules, including weekends.
    • Must be punctual.
    • Must perform the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
    • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
    • Must consistently display a positive attitude.
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must possess good problem solving skills.
    • Must possess good basic math skills.
    • Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
    • Must be teachable by being a good listener and willing to continually learn new skills.
    • Must be able to follow a list of instructions and complete them in order.
    • Must be a team player, willing to solve differences cooperatively with other team members.
    • Must own a working smartphone.
    • Must not use tobacco or marijuana products during working hours, on company owned property, or during company sponsored events.
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
