Sustainable Living Expo

The week will culminate with a Sustainable Living Expo on Saturday, March 9th at JP Jones Center from noon - 5pm.
Businesses and organizations that provide services and/or products that offer Fairbanks residents opportunities to incorporate renewable and recyclable alternatives into their daily lives will display and demonstrate/describe how Fairbanks residents can benefit from using them.
The event is FREE!
Door prizes will be announced throughout the day including a backyard composter, items from The Great Alaska Bowl Company and more!
AND!
Meg's Eats and Treats will be in the parking lot for the event!
The Children's Museum will be facilitating child friendly activities to encourage understanding of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle concepts throughout the event.
Electronics Swap! Sponsored by Reuse IT: Bring your used and WORKING electronics and trade it in for new to you electronics, anything with a cord or battery, microwave size or smaller.
GLASSroots Too Cute to Crush (TCtC) glass exchange: Bring your unique glass jar, bottle or vase and trade it for something else too cute to crush! (This is not a glass collection event. We will not be accepting glass donations at this event.)

The Sustainable Living Expo will take place at the JP Jones Center, at 2400 Rickert Street.
Fees/Admission
There is no cost or fee to the public or to vendors that wish to participate.
