King Lear
-
Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre is proud to present King Lear.
This season, dozens of artists and volunteers have come together in a retelling of one of Shakespeare’s greatest masterpieces; the story of the mythical Lear of Britain, and his descent into madness. This piece explores the dynamics of family, elder care, justice and loyalty, cognitive decline, the power of nature, and the use humor as a weapon against the darkness.
This event will take place outdoors, rain or shine.
