Joe Dallaire is the District Attorney in Fairbanks, Alaska, with two offices that serve most of Interior and Northern Alaska across the 4th and 2nd Judicial Districts – an area slightly smaller than the State of Texas. Joe graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 2002 and Western New England University School of Law in 2006. He clerked for the Alaska Superior Court from 2006 to 2007 and was hired by the Alaska Department of Law as an Assistant District Attorney in 2007. In 2017, Joe was promoted to Deputy District Attorney before being appointed in 2019 as District Attorney. Joe has prosecuted thousands of cases in his career, up to and including serious homicides. Joe is the former president of the Farthest North Chapter of the Alaska Peace Officers Association and currently serves on the National District Attorneys Association’s Board of Directors, where he chairs the Recruitment and Retention Committee and serves on the Executive and Legislative Committees. Joe resides in Fairbanks with his wife and their four children.Date and Time
