Fairbanks Arts Association Presents Gazebo Nights
-
Gazebo Nights Summer Performance Series features live performances every night of June, July, and August. Performances take place in the white gazebo near Gold Rush town in Pioneer Park and are FREE to attend from 7-8pm. If there is rain, sometimes performances will take place indoors in the Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts. (If there is a cancellation, if possible we will post on our Fairbanks Arts Facebook page as soon as we know).
Louise Kowalski, Accordion Favorites
Louise first heard an accordion in Kotzebue, Alaska, a village north of the Arctic Circle. She was immediately smitten by thismost versatile, portable, and joyous instrument, and now enjoys sharing it with others. She invites listeners to enjoy a summer evening in Fairbanks, and a variety of music from different parts of the globe, polkas included. Please join her and John, the drummer, who are also known as “Good Enough”. Singing, dancing, humming, toe tapping, and juggling are welcome accompaniments!
