The 23rd Farthest North Jewish Film Festival kicks off in early March, with four films screening for the general public on the 2nd, 5th, and 9th at Alaska Coffee Roasting Company on Geist Rd. Each festival event begins with time to enjoy food and music. Opening night is on Thursday, March 2nd, with live klezmer music from Almost A Minyan, noshes and special treats at 5 pm. The featured film, A Fiddler’s Journey to the Big Screen, starts at 6 pm. The double feature is on Sunday, March 5th. Doors open at 3:30 pm, with first film Shalom Bollywood showing at 4 pm, followed at 5:45 pm by Bombshell: The life of Hedy Lamarr. The final film is on Thursday March 9, with mizrahi (miz–rah–hee) music at 5 pm, and film. THE WEDDING BALCONY, starting at 6 pm. #FNJFilmFestival ### The Farthest North Jewish FIlm Festival is a project of the Jewish Congregation of Fairbanks, a 501(c)3 non-profit in the state of Alaska.

Admission is a suggested donation of $20 for the general public, and $10 for students, at the door. Credit cards, cash and checks will be accepted.
