23rd Annual Mutt March
-
The Mutt Marchers present the 23rd Annual Mutt March!
Grab your leash, lace up your sneakers, and get ready for a tail-wagging good time at Mutt March 2025—the ultimate celebration of dogs, community, and compassion!
Mission Statement: To give every dog an equal opportunity for a loving home regardless of age, heritage or special needs; to increase appreciation of mixed breed dogs; and to promote proper health care and good citizenship habits of all dogs in our community.
Join us on June 29th at Pioneer Park and then Moose Creek Pavilion for a fun-filled day featuring a dog walk, pet-friendly vendors, and so much more—all while supporting a great cause. Whether you’re marching with a mutt, a purebred pup, or just a love for animals, this event is open to everyone!
🐶 What to Expect:
- Scenic group dog walk / parade
- It is just under 2 miles. There are crossing guards all along the route in reflective vests. There are (3) water stations for the dogs and their people. One along the parade route, one in the front parking lot as they are there signing up and another located at Moose Creek Pavilion where the events take place.
- The route goes through the nearby neighborhoods, crossing over to the sidewalk in front of the Carlson Center and arrives back inside Pioneer Park's back gates. They walk through the back gate and the parade ends at Moose Creek Pavilion.
- Vendor village with pet products, treats & local goods
- Dog Adoptions from your local Animal Shelters (dogs up for adoption will be wearing bright orange 'Adopt Me' vests)
- Canine Good Citizenship Testing conducted by Golden Retriever Rescue of Fairbanks' Susan Sampson
- Food trucks & refreshments for humans and hounds
- Photo ops and family fun
- Agility Playground complements of ABC K-9 & Equine and 3-Ball throw pool games
