Sun Jam Summer Celebration

The sun is shining, things are growing and we have plenty to celebrate! Come join the Fairbanks Climate Action Coalition for our Sun Jam Summer Celebration on July 15th in Griffin Park behind the Morris Thompson Center. We rarely have the opportunity to share space as a whole community, and we can’t wait to see you all there! We’ll be filling the park with live music, food, games and more! We will have some BBQs set up and will be grilling. Bring yourself and your family, a blanket or some chairs to sit in, and a side dish to add to the BBQ if you’re able. Through the continued effort and energy of our FCAC member community, we have accomplished so much and there's a lot to celebrate! The Renewable Energy Working Group will highlight the success they have had in organizing around GVEA and increasing solar energy use through their annual Solarize campaigns. They will also be showcasing renewable energy options for Alaska as we continue to push for a just transition off of fossil fuels.
