The Chamber’s “Member of the Month” Award program recognizes and honors businesses for their outstanding efforts in promoting a healthy, economic environment and for promoting the greater Fairbanks area as a great place for business and community. Altrol, Inc. was named the “December Chamber Member of the Month” on Tuesday, December 6th at the Chamber’s General Membership Luncheon Meeting that was held at the Carlson Center. The “Member of the Month” award is a new program at the Chamber that seeks to promote businesses or organizations that uphold the mission and values of the Chamber, model high ethical standards, practice excellent customer service, volunteer in the community and are socially responsible, committed to local economic growth, and supportive of greater Fairbanks residents and businesses. David A. Bridges, owner and president of Altrol, Inc. has more than 30 years experience in the HVACR field, and has been in Alaska since 1972. His goal is to maintain an unequaled reputation, always emphasizing that quality work and exceptional customer service are being vital to the company’s success. “It is an honor to receive this recognition by our local Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber understands the importance of a healthy business community and I appreciate the efforts they have put forth in showcasing Altrol’s products and services,” said Bridges. Altrol, Inc. employs about 30 local Alaskan residents and is proud to offer heating, cooling and indoor air quality products, with prompt and professional customer service, regardless of the season or the temperature outside. Altrol gives back to the community to those in need in the form of products and services they offer. Most recently, Altrol, Inc. installed a complete boiler system for a local ‘Women in Transition” shelter free of charge, saving the organization thousands of dollars. The company has also donated and installed heating systems for Habitat for Humanity, Joel’s Place, Oxford House Women’s home, and Friends Church. Each year the company also installs a new boiler or furnace at no cost to a senior citizen in need. Additionally, Altrol employees also give back to the community they live and work in by volunteering at local youth ministries and churches. “The Company You Can Trust” is a motto that Dave and all of his employees work hard at maintaining. They realize that without their customers, they wouldn’t be in business. For more information about Altrol, Inc. please visit them on the web at: or call (907) 452-8680.
