Goals for the Year

• Promote collaborative educational efforts in the community
• Promote awareness by general Chamber membership about education and workforce development issues
• Monitor, and promote as appropriate, issues of importance to the Chamber

Programs & Projects for the Year

• Express appreciation for teaching professionals and support staff
• GFCC Scholarship
• Evaluate FNSB School District’s School-Business Partnership Program
• Review and make recommendations on important education-related State appointments in the community
• Welcome new & returning UAF students and their families and friends
• Provide General Membership Luncheon program/panel discussion recommendations
