The Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce is pleased to introduce Kelly Ward, 39, the new president of the Board of Directors, effective Jan. 1, 2024. Ward started as an accountant at Robinson & Ward, P.C. in 2007 and now owns the firm. She has served on the chamber board for the past four years and previously held the position of treasurer.
Ward succeeds Patrick Cotter, planner and business development director at RESPEC, whose term as board president ended Dec. 31, 2023. She developed a passion for small businesses and their financials after being raised by small business owners.
“I watched how you have to be everything to everybody, ” she said. “Now I get to work with small businesses. I enjoy helping business owners manage and mitigate the overwhelm surrounding the financial aspects of business.”
